What Is A No Hook Shower Curtain

When you have changed a shower curtain multiple times in your lifetime, you will have the same thought as everyone else. Shower curtain hooks are awful. As you attempt to pull them apart to take down the old shower curtain or liner, you are jabbed painfully on your thumbs and other fingers. This quick task of doing a shower curtain change becomes a nightmare that you cannot wait to wake up from. We have had to deal with the pain of curtain hooks for years, but we now have many different options.

Along with the pain of a shower curtain with hooks is that the hooks are separate. If you have specific hooks that go with a certain shower because of its color and design, it can be frustrating when you begin to install a shower curtain, only to get to the last hole and realize that one hook is missing. Many people will compensate by taking a hook out of the middle and putting it at the end for support but this will usually cause a small section of the curtain to droop.

The first option is shower curtain hooks that are open, so they only hang onto the shower rod. They are easy to take down because you just need to lift them off the bar before lightly and painlessly pulling them through the curtain holes at the top of the fabric. This option may still be too much for some people and if that’s the case, a shower curtain that does not use hooks will be perfect.

There are a few different types of shower curtains that are does not require a hook. One version has rings around the holes and you just need to pry them apart and put them over the shower bar and you are done. You can also buy a shower curtain that will let you tie the curtain to the bar. Velcro and buttons are other forms of shower curtains that do not require a hook.
